Having suffered from bunions over the last 10years, I had reached the point whereby the pain in both feet were starting to affect my daily activities, not to mention the limitations on my choice of footwear. I couldn't ignore it any longer and had to do something. I was lucky enough to be referred to Mr Kunasingam last July. I was initially very apprehensive and at one stage almost changed my mind about proceeding. However, I'm glad I didn't because from the initial and subsequent consultation with Mr Kunasingam, I was made to feel relaxed and reassured about the whole procedure. He addressed my concerns and allowed me time to digest the information before coming to a decision that was right for me. The operation on my right foot in October went smoothly, and recovery much better than I had expected. There was very little pain 'post-op' and at the 6 week review, for the first time in many years my foot felt normal and I had no pain. It felt like a miracle! I now have a renewed sense of enjoyment when walking, even though it's just one foot. I am amazed by Mr kunasingam's skill and want to thank him for the care he has provided me at every stage. I have my other foot to do this year, and although there is still a little anxiety which is normal when having any operation, I am feeling more confident of the outcome and looking forward to having 2 normal, pain-free feet again!

Had my key hole bunion surgery on the 11.12.18. no pain, could walk/hobble from day 1. On 18.12.18 bandage was removed and I could wear trainers+slippers. Did not need any painkillers at all. So glad I had the operation, my foot feels so much better now as it was affecting the way I walked/gait. Can't thank Mr Kunasingam enough and highly recommend him. Excellent work!!

What I love about Dr Kunasingam is that he genuinely loves the job he does and the way he talked to me throughout the process made me feel so clam, confident and positive about the whole thing. He's got a great manner, he's communicates really clearly and I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Mr Kunasingam operated on my foot in October to correct a bunion like bone growth on my left foot which was painful and I was having problems wearing shoes. I walked out of hospital less than 24 hours after my operation with a special shoe and crutches. I then had 2 weeks where I had to rest my foot as much as possible but five weeks later I was back at work and walking around with minimal pain. I have to wear stretchy training shoes for a while yet as my foot still needs to heal fully and it does swell a bit during the day at work, however I am very happy indeed with the result of the operation. Mr Kunasingam has monitored me every 2 weeks since the operation and he discharged me fully yesterday assuring me that I could get in touch at anytime if I had anything that I was worried about. I would certainly recommend him for foot surgery, he made me feel very comfortable and I definitely trust him to do his best for the patient.
